Nancy B. Jackson was elected in the ACS Presidential election this month, November 2009

Nancy B. Jackson, a researcher at Sandia National Laboratories, was elected in the ACS Presidential election this month, November 2009. She is quite known in Indonesia, especially among chemists from many universities in Indonesia that attended the Workshop of Chemical Safety and Security, held by HKI in collaboration with FACS, Sandia National Labs and Chemical Security Engagement Program (CSP) of the US Department of State, in Bali, August 2008, also in Lampung, 5 August 2009 (collaboration of HKI, Sandia, CSP, and Unila), and in Jakarta, 6 August 2009 (collaboration of HKI, Sandia, CSP, and Indonesian Institute of Sciences).
